Solar powered fence chargers?
What do yall feel about by solar power chargers. fences are about 2-3 acres of land flat, but its in a hole that only gets 8 hours of full sun. Will this be enough to charge the battery and is hot enough to keep maybe a horse stallion. i'ld also yalls opinion on the electric cord, tape, and high tinsel. were thinking of putting tinsel on the top bottom rope then high tinsel chapter then the rope. (were trying to save money)
Try fencing tape on the top, and two or three rows barbless wire. Has always maintained that all our horses and the horses themselves. =) If I were in your situation, I would certainly solar charger near a bid .... even with only 8 hours of sunlight per day. The fact that we have been very lucky with our ... and I will not use an electric one again. Why waste money to pay for something you do not have to, when you can draw energy from the sun? They are plenty powerful too, if you get a nice charger. Do not opt for a charger if you are getting cheap electric or solar .... Look at different brands. =)
