For those who want a reference source detailing all the different aspects of solar energy, solar heating and lighting, the cells of solar energy, solar technology and photovoltaics, the guide for them. They find that these (2) CD's are worth more money they cost. This guide contains solar an archive of 50,000 pages of records from public domain U.S. government official and documents, which were compiled private. The data are comprehensive, detailed and thorough and very well documented. I highly recommend it to any student of alternative energy or for anyone who wants to study the field of solar energy.

I bought this book based on the previous review (I am now suspicious if this was really an independent review). Unfortunately, these CDs are completely useless. They only contain screenshots of information freely available on government sites. I could see some value if they have been grouped or classified in any way (or data extracted in Excel). But it was nothing like that – we simply could surf different websites to get free information. In addition, information has been updated to the second, they were put in the CD. . . sites are updated frequently. Very disappointing – I must admit that low price does make me somewhat suspicious. . . but I bought it based on the review (which was completely false). Save your money and just use Google!
