Once my peach tree has sprouted from the core and is becoming a small tree, what next?
Although just read on Yahoo that I used to get very nice peaches from a tree grown from a core, I still want to try, for fun, since they already have a small tree 'of about 9 "tall, went from being a peach of last season. The reason that Yahoo search was to find out what to do next (and not, want not only that bin). Should I let it grow, or have need to be pruned in any way to thicken out? Now in its third pot, and that is growing so rapidly, and little legs still appear at the bottom. I live in the UK so you do not have dared to put it out, is no heat here today. I know that as a south facing wall with time. Is there is a master gardener? I would like to know more.
It should do well on the ground. We have one from a well about 4 years and is covered with small peaches. We were told to pull all these little peaches will be more Deposit and spend your energy getting bigger and healthier fruit does not grow. It worked very well for us. Even if fruit is not very large flowers are worth it!
