Electricity allows the use of his long personal computer. These are some of the many resources that people use daily, thus "energy" is one of the things we can not afford to lose in this day and age.
So the question of what the real definition? "Energy is defined as the ability to do the job. "
It comes in many different ways. Some examples of these forms are: light, heat, mechanical, gravitational, nuclear, chemical and energy, etc.
However, all can be classified into two categories, kinetic energy and potential. Kinetic E is found in objects moving or mass, while E is stored potential and position. An example of kinetic and potential energy would be a waterfall, as it contains both the potential and kinetic energy. Water in the top of the waterfall has stored potential energy. When the water begins to fall to the bottom, its potential becomes into kinetic energy.
In addition, resources can also be classified into two groups. These groups are renewable and nonrenewable resources. The first category are those that are continuously replaced, such as solar energy. This energy is derived ongoing natural processes, such as running water, heat emission and radiation the sun, the blowing wind and so on. Because it is renewable, such energy can be trapped and then transformed into other energy forms that are more suitable. This is where the law of conservation of energy comes in, it states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. So when we use energy, not just disappear. We are changing from one form of energy to another.
In contrast, non-renewable resources is one that can not be replaced as oil, gas, coal and nuclear energy. Oil, gas and coal are what we call fossil fuels, and that developed below the surface of the earth for millions years. Without the conservation and wise use of these sources are soon exhausted.
