The Spherical Sun Power Generator

The Beta.Ray Is Changing The Face Of Solar

Sun power generator

If you’re into alternative energy sources, look no further than the spherical sun power generator. Also known as the Beta.ray, this device is giving the term “solar power” a new face. So, what exactly is this thing, and what does it mean for the world of alternative energy?

What Is It?

The architect of this amazing concept, André Broessel of Rawlemon, believes in coming up with alternative energy sources to give the world a more efficient, greener way to get electrical power. His alternative energy solution aims to harness the sun more efficiently than traditional solar panels, and the concept behind it is quite simple.

So How Does It Work?

The Beta.ray can literally “squeeze more juice out of the sun”. More importantly, it is able to absorb sun rays during overcast days, early mornings, late evenings, and it is even able to harness moonlight! This is something traditional solar devices cannot do.

It comes equipped with a hybrid collector which lets it not only absorb thermal energy, but convert it to electricity at the same time. The crystal globe is able to concentrate diffused light onto a tiny, hyper-efficient photovoltaic cell. This is a process which many other companies have not yet been able to perfect.

The shape of the Beta.ray makes it a natural optical tracking device, allowing it to be used on almost any large area, including walls and surfaces which are inclined. It is therefore one of the most versatile solar products available on today’s market, able to light buildings or even charge a hybrid car. All you have to do is set it up, point the ball lens into the sky, and let the collector do the rest.

Practical Applications: Solar On A Smaller Scale

If you want such a unique invention for use around the home, the large scale Beta.ray is probably not the most practical option for you. Luckily, Rawlemon has developed the Beta.ey series. These two products are essentially the same design, with one being condensed for smaller needs. The Beta.ey is a USB device tabletop chargers for your phone, music player, or most other USB devices.

With this completely original design, the Beta.ray is reviving interest in sustainable energy to prove one thing. Creating a more sustainable environment often starts with simple steps.
